Sponsors

The Foundation will accept donations from individual and corporate sponsors consistent with its aims. However sponsors do not have influence over general or specific policy; the Foundation's independence is guaranteed by a board of independent Trustees who take advice on policy and strategy from an Advisory Council of experts.

Sponsors include Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Demon, Redbus and gradwell dot com Limited. Project funding has come from the Open Society Institute and the Information Commissioner's Office.
